Thursday, May 10th Mexican Mother’s Day!

10:00 AM, English Book Club

Author Michael Hogan will be the guest of the English Book Club. Michael has written a definitive history of the relationship that President Abraham Lincoln maintained with Mexico before, during and after the American Civil War.  Lincoln’s early and persistent rejection of the US government’s role in claiming one-half of Mexico as war booty is documented precisely and persuasively.  Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend to this discussion and book signing of “Abraham Lincoln and Mexico.”
